The MotoGP Grand Prix of France is on the way, making headlines amid a congested sports weekend. The famous Le Mans will host the event, making way for a thrilling race from 07 May to 09 May, 2026. As we have seen so far, Marco Bezzecchi is impeccably consistent. His current form promises to become the 2026 MotoGP champion. In contrast, the previous season stars like Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez, and Francesco Bagnaia are showing a mixed form. However, the recent win from Alex has revamped his confidence for the upcoming games.
Spanish Grand Prix Highlights
The Spanish MotoGP has ended successfully with a thrilling Sunday race. Marc Marquez has disappointed fans once again as he drifted away from the race after a crash. This was the fourth time this season that Marc Marquez went without a win. Surprisingly, his brother, Alex Marquez, won the race. It was a second win at home in a row for the Spaniard. It left fans amazed as Alex rushed past Marc right before the crash. Much to say, the overtakes, corners, and quick turns elevated the drama on the asphalt.
Alex’s Road to Victory
Despite starting in pole position, Marc Marquez lost his race on a right turn, crashing straight away. Alex Marquez capitalized on the right turn on Lap 2 and overtook his brother. From then on, Alex Marquez held on to his position firmly. More than that, Bezzecchi strongly held to his second spot till the end. This was notable as Bezzecchi has been really stronger than he was in the previous season. In short, the Spanish MotoGP was carried by Alex’s comeback and Bezzecchi’s comeback.
Marc Marquez’s Decline
Marc Marquez has been constantly disappointing his fans and Lenovo Ducati. He crashed in the previous Grand Prix in Spain. While taking a right turn, an extreme lean angle caused his bike to drift away to the run-off area. This was a terrible setback for Lenovo Ducati. After his massive 7th championship-winning season, Marc’s quality has significantly dropped. He has had no podiums this season. Regarding his form, he has slightly deteriorated after his successful season.

MotoGP Grand Prix of France – Predictions
Marco Bezzecchi
Marco Bezzecchi has been greatly reliable this season; he ranks first in the standings with 101 points. He has 4 podiums, including 3 wins this season. Bezzecchi’s consistency in both practice sessions and main races was simply astounding. He quickly adapted to his Aprilia bike, becoming the top non-Ducati rider. Le Mans has a stop-and-go nature that suits Bezzecchi’s hard braking style. As seen in the previous race, Bezzecchi has solid overtaking and sustaining skills. This will enable him to stay in the leading spots. Besides, Bezzecchi has won the MotoGP Grand Prix of France in 2023. This proves his familiarity with the circuit.
Jorge Martin
Jorge Martin is currently the second-best rider in MotoGP. Ranking 2nd in the MotoGP standings, His finishes are most often in the top 5 and are consistent. Technically, Jorge Martin has extreme lean angle turns in corners and massive late-braking force. He has all the qualities to meet the technical demands of the Le Mans Circuit. Particularly, the French track features multiple turns after long straights, which would require extreme stopping power. Jorge Martin obviously has this ability to slow down and accelerate quickly. This makes him the second-best pick for the upcoming MotoGP Grand Prix of France.
Fabio Di Giannantonio
Le Mans is known for its intense braking zones and hard stopping nature. The track also requires extreme front-end stability. That being said, Fabio Di Giannantonio shows a moderate fitness to race on this circuit. Although he is improving his late-braking style, Giannantonio has been close to the top 5 positions frequently in recent races. Regardless of his shortcomings, Giannantonio is somewhat qualified to finish on the podium at this MotoGP Grand Prix of France.
