Crocker vs. Paro: Fighters’ Profile
Lewis Crocker’s Profile
Lewis Crocker is a talented boxer from Northern Ireland. He fights in the welterweight division. Since he made his debut as a professional, Crocker has been one of the leading fighters in his division.
In 2020, Lewis finally wore the WBO European welterweight belt after defeating Louis Greene. He won the WBA Continental European belt by defeating Tyrone McKenna in the “Battle of Belfast” on 2 December 2023. Then, with his top performances, he won the IBF welterweight belt in 2025, becoming a top-ranked boxer worldwide.
Amateur career
Before becoming a pro, Lewis Crocker had a remarkable career as an amateur boxer. He fought for Cairn Lodge Boxing Club and later for Holy Trinity Boxing Club in Belfast. He achieved the incredible feat of winning 90 out of 97 fights. In his amateur career, he won seven All-Ireland junior titles and earned a bronze medal at the 2011 European Schoolboy Championships.
Crocker was also Ireland’s representative in the 2012 European Youth Championships in Sofia and the 2013 World Junior Championships in Kyiv. His punch was so powerful that he set the Irish amateur boxing record in 2015 for the fastest knockout. He holds the Irish Boxing Knockout of the Year award after knocking out his opponent in less than 12 seconds.
Professional career
Lewis Crocker went professional with a bang. His first fight was at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall. He knocked out Ferenc Jarko at the very beginning, which was a perfect start. From there, he rose consistently in the welterweight division by dominating every fight. Naturally, he became one of the top boxing prospects in Northern Ireland.
One moment in his boxing journey changed everything: his fight against Paddy Donovan for the IBF welterweight title. The challenger was disqualified for landing a punch after the bell. Donovan was warned for fouls no less than four times. The controversial ending was appealed at once. The IBF gave a rematch order right after.
The rematch was held on 13 September 2025 at Windsor Park. It was the fight for the vacant IBF welterweight title. Crocker did not rush in like before, as he was more of a patient boxer. The results of the third and the fifth rounds put him in the lead. Overall, he got a split decision. This great victory made him the new IBF welterweight champion. Besides, it was the most significant accomplishment of his professional career.
Liam Paro’s Profile
Liam Robert Paro (born 16 April 1996) is an Australian professional boxer who fought in the light-welterweight division. In 2024, he won the IBF light-welterweight title, which was the most significant highlight of his professional career.

When he was 13 years old, Paro came across boxing and went on to completely change his life. He shifted his focus from rugby league to the sport that he loved more. His dedication to boxing propelled him to move to Townsville at 17, a place that offered him even better training facilities.
He was 20 years old when he decided to move again, this time to Brisbane to build his professional career. At that time, he was training with the best fighters, including the world champion Jeff Horn.
Professional career
Liam Paro made a bold statement by starting his international professional career with a victory. He beat the undefeated Puerto Rican Yomar Álamo with a split decision on the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley II undercard.
In 2024, Paro got a chance to fight Subriel Matías for the IBF super lightweight title in Manatí, Puerto Rico. The fight was officially announced for 15 June 2024. After the match, Paro, with a magnificent performance, won by unanimous decision and became the IBF super lightweight champion.
In that year, it was later announced that Paro would defend his title for the first time against Richardson Hitchins. In a hard-fought fight, Paro lost his title through a split decision.
In 2025, Paro moved to the welterweight division and fought the very talented David Papot in an IBF title eliminator. Showing his calmness and mastery, Paro was awarded a unanimous decision victory.

Crocker vs. Paro Prediction
No Limit Boxing CEO George Rose described it as a real-world title fight between two men in their prime. Liam Paro brings world-class experience, and he has shown he can even win a world title on the road. His composure, timing, and distance management are still amazing and reliable strengths. They are wonderfully resilient qualities that go a long way.
Crocker, however, showed a lot of improvement in his last battles, particularly in the rematch with Donovan. He looked more composed, more tactically clever, and less rash than before. The change in training environment suggests that he is refining his method rather than just depending on force and grit.
The technical discipline and ring control of Paro are the major differences here. He is better at dictating the range, slowing down aggressive fighters in the middle of the fight. In the span of 12 rounds, that sort of control he holds is essential in a closely fought match.
Crocker’s pressure and home advantage will make the fight thrilling. However, Paro’s better shot and his experience of winning give him a slight edge in this fight.
The pick: Liam Paro via Split Decision.
