Introduction

The league resumes in the 2026/27 season with another intense one where 18 teams play each other in 34 rounds. The season kicked off on August 21 and will run until May 29, 2027. The defending champion Paris Saint-Germain remains the favorite after winning the Ligue 1 title for many consecutive seasons now.
