Xander Zayas is a Puerto Rican boxer, fighting in the super-welterweight division. Currently, he is a unified champion, holding both the WBA and WBO titles. Zayas was interested in boxing from a very young age. At six, Zayas won his very first amateur bout and went on to the youth circuit. After being prolific in the youth circuit, Zayas went on to win the national title. Within 10 years, Xander Zayas achieved phenomenal success in his amateur career. Xander won the U.S. National Championships gold medal twice in 2017 and 2018. He finished his amateur career with an excellent record of 130-14 and decided to turn professional.
