It comprises 20 teams that play a total of 38 matchdays. The 2026-27 season will run from August 2026 to May 2027, offering an extremely competitive nine-month period. Matchday 2 will run from 28th August to 31st August. The second matchday will follow the first one and offer another chance for the teams to build momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-matchday-2-previews\"><strong>Matchday 2 Previews<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Serie A&#8217;s matchday 1 has paved the way for an intriguing matchday 2 as well.
