Brandon Figueroa and his early life and boxing
Younger brother of former WBC lightweight champion Omar Figueroa Jr, Brandon Figueroa was born on December 29, 1996. In Texas. He grew up in a small border town in Texas. His family was filled with boxing heritage too; his brother being a boxer tells it all. He started to go to the fighter gym with his father and his brother at the age of six. But his father was hesitant to let him get into boxing and pivoted more into modelling and acting.
He saw him as too skinny and not suitable for boxing training. But he didn’t give up and still trained and proved to his father by taking down multiple heavy boxers with an explosive style. His high-volume attacks finally got his trust of his father, and he started to train even more in boxing to get ahead in the amateur space. This was the start of his boxing career. In his professional boxing bout, he won the WBA interim super bantamweight title after fighting Yonfrez Parejo. The fight ended in a corner retirement; this is the fight that boosted his career. How well both fighters performed in their last fight
Nick Ball’s last fight was brutal. In the beginning, Sam Goodman started to control the centre. Nick Ball is barely trying to get into his position. Then came some insane shots from both of them. Blocks, head movements, and multiple shots. In the beginning, Sam Goodman landed a lot of shots. Then, as the time passed, Sam Goodman slowed down and started to lean on the ring. This gave Nick Ball a huge advantage and started to give him some huge shots to the head.
Finally, the round ended, and through unanimous decision, Nick Ball won the Bout. This was the closest fight Nick Ball has ever had in his entire boxing career. On the other hand, Brandon Figueroa faced Joet Gonzalez in Nevada. The fight was slow, but it was tactical; both of them stayed closer to each other, hitting body shots and landing more shots, both didn’t go explosive knockout, but they started to box with tactical methods, and finally, the fight ended in favour of Brandon Figueroa
Predictions
One being undefeated and having some explosive fighting patterns. Another one uses the tactical method. Both are dangerous; there is clearly not much difference in their age or experience. This fight could be close; both of them are clearly in great form. Both of them had their last fight around July and August. Both of them won their last boxing bout, making them more than ready for the upcoming fight between them. Nick Ball’s relentless pressure and his explosive strikes are going to help him a lot.
Brandon Figueroa and the constant tactical approach that makes him control the centre give him the advantage of controlling the fight as a whole. But though Brandon Figueroa controls the fight, Nick Ball is hard to take control of. He will break through his tactical defensive setup and will land some punches to his body or head that will eventually wear him down and will end the fight in a TKO or in a unanimous decision. Expect a fast-paced fight in the upcoming Nick Ball vs. Brandon Figueroa fight. Nick Ball will win the upcoming bout against Brandon Figueroa
