The Motorcycle Grand Prix is getting ready for another round at the BRNO Circuit on 21 June 2026. The seven-time champion, Marc Marquez, arrives as the most recent winner at Balaton Park. Although it may seem that the tables have turned, Bezzecchi still leads the standings. Jorge Martin trails behind with his consistent finishes since the season’s beginning. The upcoming race at BRNO will be more dramatic, as its layout is highly demanding. Its sweeping corners and heavy braking zones will make this race an iconic one. As the circuit gets ready, the pursuit of pole position intensifies. Below are the race schedule, circuit details, and expert picks for the upcoming MotoGP Grand Prix of Czechia.
Hungarian GP Highlights
Crash at Turn 1
As soon as the race began, a massive crash took 5 drivers out of the race. This crash took place at the very first turn in the circuit when Jorge Martin lost control while braking. He crashed and hit his teammate, Marco Bezzecchi, and other riders. Fabio di Giannantonio, Raul Fernandez, and Fermin Aldeguer all crashed out of the race. But luckily, all riders escaped major injuries and are expected to show up for the next race. This cost a heavy toll on Marco Bezzecchi’s ranking, but still the Aprilia rider leads.
Marc Marquez’s Comeback
Marc Marquez reclaimed his throne by winning the Hungarian GP, delivering a strong comeback that shook everyone. Overcame a qualifying crash and outperformed Pedro Acosta at Balaton Park. His medium-tire strategy enabled him to claim his 100th career win. Initially, Marc was behind Acosta, but once his tire management paid off, he overtook Acosta and won the P1.
Pedro Acosta’s Finish
Pedro Acosta finished in the second position behind Marquez. He used his soft-rear-tire technique to build an early lead. However, it backfired once his tires wore out, and Marc took over from Acosta. Eventually, he failed to retrieve his lead and finished third. This time, Acosta is mindful of tire management while handling the corners effectively.

MotoGP Grand Prix of Czechia – Predictions
Marco Bezzecchi
Marco Bezzecchi has an eccentric style where he prefers to brake deeply, leaning into the corner. His immense front-end balance allows him to ride through corners efficiently. He is aggressive on slow corners, which enables him to pull off late passes. In the BRNO circuit, Bezzecchi will have an easy time gaining momentum after turn 14 and turn 2. Regarding tire management, he saves it for clutch moments while still having a strong lead in the early laps. He is expected to secure a first-position win in this MotoGP Grand Prix of Czechia.
Pedro Acosta
Pedro Acosta has a unique braking style on the grid. He keeps the bike upright and points its front sharply into the apex. This allows him to carry the momentum in long sweeping corners. Acosta will likely gain more leads in the 1st and 14th corners. He saves the tire for a late moment shift, which will be effective in the long run. He is expected to finish 2nd or win a podium at least.
Jorge Martin
Jorge Martin comes after a terrible crash at the Hungarian GP. This time, the Aprilia rider is determined to secure a P1 finish. But racing among Acosta and Bezzecchi, Jorge Martin will have to outpower them with a better braking style and momentum. But his braking style is unreliable, prioritizing speed over stability. Given BRNO’s complex layout, Jorge Martin might secure a podium but is far from a first-position win.
