Upcoming Grand Prix of Brazil Preview
The Brazilian GP is about to commence grandly at Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna. This race will be phenomenal as the Motorcycle Grand Prix returns after several years. Let’s see how each rider will tackle the race below.
Marco Bezzecchi
Marco Bezzecchi continues his momentum in the corners with his Aprilia. His riding style is often aggressive, with late braking, which gives him a solid edge in this game. The Ayrton Senna circuit has smooth corners, making it suitable for a late-braking style. Seeing Bezzecchi’s pre-season testing rides and opening performance, Marco Bezzecchi is in a refined form. Besides, he also has a superior ability in heavy braking zones. The circuit has long, speed straights leading into tight corners. This is where Bezzecchi saves time and might sustain his position. His Aprilia RS-GP26 in 2026 has allowed him to exploit the bike’s capabilities and fully capitalize on races. Although he is aggressive in the circuit, his late-braking and smooth corner exits will keep him in the leading positions. Therefore, we can expect him to reach first in the upcoming Brazilian GP.
Pedro Acosta
Pedro Acosta has a late braking quality, just like Marco Bezzecchi. He tends to unleash his aggressive riding approach in the long straights, which will earn him some time. He also excels in controlling the bike with body movements, often relying on physics to minimize braking and momentum loss. At the end of the long straights, hard-braking points will allow him to utilize his strength. Pedro Acosta is also aware of quick corners and has a good adaptability to tackle them without compromising on speed. Moreover, the recent tyre management makes him effectively manage wear and will help him to maintain pace. So, we can expect him to reach the podium position in this race.
Francesco Bagnaia
Francesco Bagnaia’s riding style is expected to be smooth at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna. The circuit has fast straights with technical, tight corners, demanding high-precision braking and acceleration. These are all the areas where Bagnaia thrives. Particularly, his turning and braking are the highlights. His late braking and smooth cornering will carry significant momentum. Bagnaia’s previous season was also good until the latter half. This time, Bagnaia is expected to finish third given his renewed confidence.
Conclusion
The Motorcycle Grand Prix 2026 is just in the early phase, with riders discovering their forms. Top prospects like Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez, and Francesco Bagnaia are still positioning themselves before they can unleash. Moreover, other riders like Bezzecchi, Acosta, and Martin are showing signs of title contention. Regardless, the upcoming race will set the tone for the rest of the calendar.
