F1-Mexico Grand Prix 2025- Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez

  • The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit has a wonderful history, an interesting one in 1959. Mexico’s famous racing brothers, Ricardo and Pedro, advised President Adolfo Lopez Mateo on a new idea for a racing circuit in Mexico City. The president liked the idea, and the track was completed surprisingly in less than a year. Formula 1 cars first came to Mexico in 1962 for a non-championship race and the official Grand Prix since 1963. Started the race on the first podium, Jim Clark won and raced several more years. Mexico’s party atmosphere made it the last race of the Formula 1 season. Mexico returned to the F1 calendar in 2015.
  • This circuit is located over two km above sea level, creating a thrilling lap experience. This track mostly follows the layout of the original circuit from 1959, but the challenging Peraltada corner split a baseball stadium. Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez provides a unique view in Formula One, and Mexico City is vibrant and lively. The Autodromo is located just east of downtown and accessible by metro. The Mexican Grand Prix is a fantastic blend of sports and culture. Find a spot in the old baseball stadium for a close view of the drivers during the podium ceremony.
Circuit Length4.304 km
Race Distance305.584 km
Number of Laps71
  • Last year, this circuit’s performances based on pole position started with Carlos Sainz with Ferrari. He had achieved the first podium position with a 1:15.946 time duration. At least, who will be the better one to accomplish this time?
  • The fastest lap record for the Mexico Grand Prix 2024 was set by Charles Leclerc in a Ferrari at 1:18.336 on lap 71. Who will secure a victory, the incumbent or the newcomer in the upcoming Mexico Grand Prix?

He won titles in MSA Formula (2015), Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 (2016), and FIA European Formula 3 (2017). In 2018, George Russell ended Norris’s clean sweep by winning the Formula 2 title while Norris was the runner-up. McLaren, where he was part of the Young Driver Programme, decided to promote him to F1 for 2019. In his beginner season, he partnered with Carlos Sainz and finished 11th.

In 2020, he achieved his first podium finish at the Austrian Grand Prix. In 2021, with Daniel Ricciardo as his teammate, Norris nearly won his first race in Russia. He started the race in first place but went off track in the rain after choosing to stay on slick tires. He finished in seventh place. In 2022, he finished seventh in the championship, and in 2023, he welcomed rookie Oscar Piastri to the team. He finished sixth that year. In 2024, Norris had his best season yet. He questions team decisions and “Papaya rules” fairness during critical race moments.  He processes information effectively and knows where he can improve. Piastri gives clear and specific technical feedback, which helps the engineers adjust the car to fit his driving style. Although tire management was a weakness, Piastri has made great strides.
