The change in name to ‘Cognizant Classic’ in 2021 reflects the event’s partnership with Cognizant, a global leader in technology and business services, and its commitment to innovation and excellence. It has evolved into a significant event on the PGA TOUR over the years, experiencing multiple name and venue changes before finding its current home at the PGA National Vacation Spot & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, in 2007. The tournament rebranded to the Honda Classic in 1981 and became the Cognizant Classic in 2021.
