How can I watch the NBA 2025-26 season live streaming?

Worldwide ESPN family of networks, NBC Sports, and Amazon Prime Video for the new NBA 2025-26 season. NBA and Prime Video both replace TNT, with NBC returning to televise the NBA leagues.

The 2025-26 season will air on ABC broadcasts for basketball fans. Additionally, ABC then airs NBA Saturday Primetime games and Sunday Showcase games.

Five Christmas Day games will air on ABC or ESPN networks, making it easier to watch the regular season. ESPN will also continue to air the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and the 2026 NBA draft.

In 2025-26 season will air on NBA TV, which is run by the league. This network will no longer be run by TNT Sports.

Format

Each team will play 82 games, adhering to the format that features a well-balanced mix of intra-conference and inter-conference matchups. The Emirates NBA Cup is an in-season tournament back for its third year. It will take place from October 31 to December 16. This event adds excitement and competition to the midseason schedule. The play-in tournament features teams 7 to 10 competing for the last two playoff spots. Seeding rules state that division winners won’t automatically get top seeds; standings will be based only on win-loss records.

Rules
