F1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2025 – Predictions
Lando Norris
Lando Norris will participate in the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix 2025 for the McLaren team.
Car and Team Performance
McLaren is currently dominating the 2025 season, pushing Red Bull and Ferrari. They had a strong start this 2025 season, scoring consistently and achieving numerous wins. While McLaren’s car is arguably one of the strongest, Norris has experienced some inconveniences. Reportedly, he needed to adapt his driving style to suit the car’s characteristics. He has faced challenges with control around the turns and corners. Norris struggles to keep control and faces challenges with understeering and getting the car to flow naturally. However, McLaren’s overall team performance is outstanding, and its finishes are consistent. McLaren’s MCL39 stands out for its pace and excellent time control on the track. Technical quirks like front suspension design and brake cooling system improve the car’s speed and consistency. Comparatively, they have a strong dominance in the constructors’ championship.
Driver Form and Consistency
Lando Norris’s driving style combines precision, flexibility, and late braking. It allows him to extract significant performance, especially on corner entries. However, his style has specific challenges, particularly in tyre management and consistency. Norris prefers a “V-shaped” racing line in the corners to apply a late brake and enter with full speed. When it comes to steering, he maintains smooth steering inputs, keeping the grip on the edge. This ability to blend speed and aggressive braking enables him to generate maximum velocity. Additionally, he has demonstrated a strong adaptability when driving different cars and in various conditions. His late braking and aggressive entry often translate into strong single-lap pace, making him a contender for pole positions. His mastery of the corners will allow him to maintain the speed and position in the 14-turn Hungaroring. Eventually, Lando Norris might get to the podium this time.
Charles Leclerc
Charles Leclerc will represent the Italian team Ferrari in the Grand Prix of Hungary 2025.
Car and Team Performance
Ferrari’s SF-25 has shown peak performance in dry track conditions, proven by previous races. Yet, the car is challenging to handle. It has understeering issues, which Charles Leclerc handles seamlessly. He effectively manages Ferrari SF-25’s chronic understeering. The Italian-built car had upgrades that claimed to close the gap in upcoming races. However, they continue showing minor weaknesses in medium and high-speed corners. Ferrari holds second position in the constructors’ championship with 248 points. The team continues to advance steadily under Frédéric Vasseur’s leadership. Moreover, Ferrari has introduced suspension systems, aiming to reduce handling issues.
Driver Form and Consistency
Charles Leclerc quickly rose to prominence in F1 after joining the team. His impressive performances in the F1 races earned him multiple recognitions, simultaneously honing his skills. Leclerc is a consistent racer who often ends up on the podium. Evidently, he finished in third place in the previous Belgian Grand Prix. However, the SF-25 struggles in medium and high-speed corners, posing challenges for Leclerc. While Charles Leclerc is a skilled driver, his car must fix the consistency errors in the corners.
Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen will drive for the Red Bull Racing team in F1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2025.
Car and Team Performance
The Red Bull Racing team’s RB21 demonstrates a firm grip in faster turns. However, the RB21 struggles with a wide range of corner speeds, making it challenging to manage the rear tyre’s temperature. Early in the season, the car struggled with understeer and disconnected balance in the corners. Red Bull has opted for a simplified aerodynamic concept, avoiding complex features that caused performance drops in the previous season. Additionally, a more optimized cooling system has been installed. It enhances the capacity without losing velocity. The RB21 remains both stable and race-ready for the upcoming F1 round.
Driver Form and Consistency
Despite Red Bull’s struggles, Max Verstappen continues to dominate with his skills, guiding the team in the right direction. He manages oversteer with smooth, precise inputs, exhibiting deliberate attention to grip. Max turns the car in a shorter distance, enabling faster entry and exit without losing speed. Verstappen focuses on a specific rotation point during braking rather than solely on late braking. He strategically applies braking to shift weight and stabilize the car for sharp cornering. Moreover, Verstappen has remarkable car control, particularly in high-speed corners. Verstappen’s aggressive approach and high grip levels reflect his mastery of car dynamics. Max Verstappen will get to the first position this time.
